Weekly jams in Toronto

I have started building a database of weekly jams. I need your help building this list. If you run a jam, or know someone who does, please contact me. There is no charge for listing here.

The criteria to be listed is pretty simple. The jam should be a regular weekly event, it should be hosted by a local band or performer and it should be open to all musicians. The information I need is;

• Location of jam
• Day of week for the jam
• Host band
• Description of the jam such as type of music, equipment available, etc.

Looking for that certain singer, guitarist, drummer, bassist for your band? Maybe you will find him /her there. Just bring your guitar, sticks, bass, jam out some tunes with the band, have a drink or two and enjoy the music! Every Sunday from 6:00 to 10:00.
Sunday	Rose and Thorne 264 Brown's Line	The Lil' Steve Band	Start time is 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm Come and play your stuff in a casual setting, with the band, solo, or bring in your friends to back you up. The jammimg starts in the first set! Just bring your guitar/sticks/what you need to play stuff, grab a beer and have some fun on a Sunday afternoon.
Sunday	Sarah's Café & Bar 1426 Danforth Avenue	Dan McLean Jr.	From 3:00 to 6:00. Family-friendly, relaxed, supportive, weekly open stage. All styles and skill-levels welcome. Excellent sound. Great food & drink. "Bring your axe, or just chillax!"
Sunday	Southside Johnny's Bar & Grill 3653 Lakeshore Boulevard West	Rebecca	Start 9:30pm to 1:00pm
Sunday	Thirsty Fox Pub 1028 Eglinton Avenue West	Fera	bring your acoustic instruments and/or voices (no drum kit) equipped with P.A. system and microphones. 4:00-8:00 pm.
Monday	Dave's 730 St. Clair Avenue West	Pete Eastmure	This open jam has been going on for 1 1/2 years. Start time 7:30pm to 11pm.Featured Artist every week! There is house piano!! Bring your own guitar. We love singer/songwriters and are trying to promote Canadian Popular Culture!

Tuesday	Axis Gallery and Bistro 3048 Dundas Street West	Derek Downham	From 9:30PM
Tuesday	The Old Nick 123 Danforth Ave	Jennifer Brewer	A live forum for budding songwriters and musicians to showcase their music.Originals and covers - anything you want. There is a guitar provided for anyone who doesn't wanna bring one - no kit but hand drums welcome - - and anything else you can carry :-) The music kicks off at 9:30 pm.
Wednesday	Gladaman's Den 502 Yonge Street	Rob Ines Trio	Open Mic night with James Quigley.
Wednesday	The Great Hall 1087 Queen Street West	The Great Hall Band	Starts at 9:30PM. Drums and amps provided. Just bring your guitars, drumsticks, and voices, etc.
Wednesday	Grossman's Tavern 379 Spadina Avenue	Ernest Lee and Cotton Traffic	Blues oriented jam. Starts at 9:30PM
Wednesday	Liberty Bistro 25 Liberty Street	Noah Zacharin	Jam/OM. Special guests. Good vibes and love a'plenty. With a dose of Big Daddy Z's tunes & guitar filigree each week. Confetti, smarties, victuals. No sign-up, just show-up. From 8:00 to 11:30. No drum kit but real piano.
Wednesday	Lola 40 Kensington Avenue	Robert Livingstone	licensed, no cover, nice place, relaxed, patio too! House kit (small), piano, bass, amps - bring your own instrument. Singer/songwriters, instrumentalists, bands, duos, etc. One drink minimum per customer.
Wednesday	The Unicorn 175 Eglinton Ave. East	Dat Damn Jam Band	Starts @ 9:30 pm with hosts Kojo, Rob Heimstra and Dale Harrison Guests can get a live recording of their performance emailed to them. 3 songs each.
Thursday	Gabby Pub 7059 Yonge Street	Alex Shain	From 9:00PM to midnight

Saturday	The Flower Drum Restaurant 2428 Lake Shore Boulevard West	SNAFU	Jam starts at 9:30. Country, blues, rock, R&B.
Saturday	Sgt Peppers Pub and Grill 115 First Commerce Drive	Straight Razor	9:00PM start
Saturday	Sportster's Bar 1430 Danforth Avenue	Nicola Vaughan	10:00 to 2:00 acoustic jam. Bring your instrument.
Saturday	Timothy's Pub 344 Brown's Line	The Meteors	Open jam from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. All musicians welcome.
